Ya know I really don't like threatening people but when I buy something from you and then you don't respond to my PMs for four days I just don't know what else to do. Allow me to elaborate . . .
So I bought a Cass head from a person on DOA who had excellent feedback and was very communicative at first, both times I sent her my payment she always -- as I requested -- let me know that she got it, until my last payment on Friday, that is. Friday was my final payment and I sent it along as well as a PM to let her know I sent it and if she could please let me know she got it and when she was going to ship the head out. Well Monday is almost gone and still nothing. I've sent her two PMs and one email now just asking for her to at least communicate with me, but in the one I sent tonight I also let her know that she has until Friday (11/27) to contact me before I have her paged. Am I being too impatient about this? When I've sold things in the past I've never gone more than 24 hours without contacting the buyer so it worries me when a seller won't even tell me what's up. On top of that right after I sent my first payment I found out I have jury duty next month which means I will be missing a week of work and a week of pay(and the compensation you get for jury duty is ridiculous). I'm not hurting but I do feel kinda stretched -- though I put my RL Apple up for sale to compensate for the pay I'm going to miss. I just wish the seller would contact me.

All though, after this incident and the drama with the person who bought my Onyx (talk about a case of crazy buyers regret there) I think I will stay away from the MP from now on except for group orders. I've had so many good experiences with people but these two transactions in particular make me too stressed and I hate being stressed. I do everything I can to keep myself from feeling too much stress and anxiety.

I’m not having any kind of buyers regret about the head, I had been hoping to see one on the MP that wasn’t an auction (which means paying more than I should have), I just hate it when people ignore me after I’ve sent them so much money.

When she finally does send the head I will then have to think about a body that will work that’s not the super gem body (‘cause I really don’t like that body) but I probably won’t be buying a body until about February maybe later ‘cause then there’s new Carys to buy after I finally decide on which mold I like best for her.

So it's been like a million years since I actually started up my sims game let alone actually played with the sims themselves and I kinda got a bug to actually play the game the other day -- as opposed to just building and decorating houses. Which meant I had to decorate my houses to be playable, no OSMPs and very little clutter. Though, I sorta took the easy way and just remodeled a couple of the houses in Pleasantview. Any who, I wanted to share my remodels -- since I haven't shared anything in such a LONG time.

On this day three years ago I got my first -- and what would almost be my only -- boy.  So I took so new shots of him tonight -- more of those cell phone-esque quality ones -- in honor of the day.  I also poked through my photos and picked out a few of my favorites just 'cause three years seemed worthy of some form of celebration?  So yeah lotsa images  behind the ol' LJ cuts.;D

Ya know sometimes people really amaze me -- and not in the good way.  There's this group, well more like two or three, of people standing around this table with pictures and signs that say things like; "Pull over to stop Obama" and my personal favorite; "Send Obama to the MOON!"  I laughed, 'cause really it was a little silly and then I took a closer look at the photos they have of Obama (one really comical one where they've photo-shopped his over sized head onto a smaller body riding a rocket) and they had given him a Hitler mustache.  What the fuck.  I understand if you don't like or agree with him -- heck I've got my own issues with him -- but Hitler, really?  I was actually a little offended by the comparison or joke or whatever it is they were going for and thought about stopping and asking why?  But in the end went with my better judgment and decided against it because that is probably the kind of attention these people crave.

Jack and I threw a party at her place.  Mostly with her friends/co-workers.  I got a few pictures, but not many.  Mostly of Nanook, KIm, and Manda with her boyfriends.XD

Today we had our local meet and Stephanie -- the one from Tacoma -- came down with her parents and joined us.  It was so great to see her again and I hope she comes back to visit our little group.  Any who, I took a few pictures.;D

Well I finaly had some time to do a proper face-up on Marek the other day and I'm much happier with him now  -- even if my mom thinks he looks like Rob Lowe.XD  I've also ordered him some clothes and shoes and hopefully they will be here before the meet on Tuesday -- otherwise he's going to get wrapped up in gauze bandages and go as a mummy.>.<  I also spent some time trying on wigs and realizing that all the 'masculine' wigs I have are for Balin -- who is very much a pin head by comparison -- and don't even come close to fitting over Marek's massive head.  So yeah, I've been on a wig hunt which has so far turned up two new wigs for Juliet and nothing for Marek.=/  I have this idea of what I want and have yet to find it.  Well, one of the wigs at luts came close but I really don't want to pay 22 dollars for shipping on one wig.  So I shall continue to look.  In the mean time you get to see Marek in my girly wigs.  Today I put the big one on him and he looked like a lion.

Annnnnd Marek is home!  And he's frikkin HUGE!  But also very awesome and I was totally unprepared for him to be here this soon.  Iplehouse ships fast.o.O  I ordered on September 11th with the intention of doing a layaway, but then that Amber sold and I was able to pay him off early and then less than a week later he's here!  I really hadve not thought much about a look as far as his face up goes let alone bought him anything to wear.XD  I painted him this afternoon and I'm sure I will be changing it later as I get more of a feel for this guys look.  Any who, we've been having this storm here -- rain, thunder, lightening, the whole nine yards -- so light isn't fantastic and neither are my pictures but I certainly did take quite a few.

 

WOOHOO Luo is in US customs and likely to be here by Saturday!  Yay . . .  Haven't been this excited about doll stuff in a while.:D  So much to do . . .

Oh and my work hours doubled this week thanks to the flu.  Even though I feel bad for anyone who is sick, I was still very happy to pick up some extra shifts (even if they were the most brutal shifts).  Speaking of the flu, over half of the local high school was out with the flu last week, which is like insane.o.O  I guess Tenino was on the channel something or other news because of it and the Olympian actually had a nice/sympathetic article about Tenino -- not like their usual omahgawd Tenino is dumb small city banter.  So yeah, a lot of people around here are sick, hopefully I will not become one of them.

Oh and I went and saw Zombieland last Saturday . . . and wow so much gore, so much violence, 

  No really I enjoyed this movie, even if it was violent.  And it was oh so very violent.
